Business Analyst – Insights for Informed Strategies (34818)

Overview

As a business analyst, you will support an organization’s management, transformation, and future planning efforts in order to further its objectives. This could apply to a single project or be a constant aspect of the organization. You’ll need to comprehend the existing state of the organization, pinpoint unmet needs in the future, and develop solutions to fill those needs, frequently (but not always) in the context of information and software systems.

You’ll need to show that you have a thorough understanding of the organization’s operations and the industry it serves because you’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders to develop the organization’s functions, services, and products.

Additionally, you’ll play a significant position in facilitating communication between internal departments and outside parties by serving as a “translator”

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of a client’s industry, customers, organization and business objectives.
Solve interesting problems to build or improve a system.
Assess user requirements, procedures and problems.
Provide quality client support by answering questions and encouraging communication.
Make data driven recommendations regarding business issues and resource allocation.
Assess how well a product meets usability and ability to meet business needs.
Ability to analyze complex business problems and convey solutions through user stories, features, and automated tests.
Ability to communicate well with client business stakeholders, software engineers, and designers.
Ability to analyze software specification documents and APIs.
Experience designing and implementing automated integration tests to demonstrate feature completeness.

1 + years of experience
Ability to gather and document client requirements / develop project plan
Detail oriented and able to work well independently as well as a lead of team
Demonstrated written and oral communication skill
