Marketing Business Analyst (70707)

Overview

A marketing business analyst is responsible for strategist marketing techniques and promotional content to create brand awareness on different media platforms. They evaluate the current industry trends to identify business opportunities that would generate revenue resources and pave the way for more business partnerships. They also conduct data and statistical analysis of sales reports, adjusting objectives as needed to support clients’ requirements and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Work with end users in analysing structure and flow of work, and recommend/evaluate changes to improve operations
  • Proactively manage, track and analyse web design and development proposal process
  • Provide analysis for the channel and help implement and develop annual and long term marketing and communication programs
  • Analyse channel potential by region and capture a clear picture of the business and provide suggestions for improvements
  • Develops and utilises clear metrics that define optimal levels of functionality, sustainability and compliance to verify deliverable quality
  • Manages supplier contracts and deliverables, which result in the highest quality output for the lowest cost to Shire
  • Develops and executes new, innovative and optimal deployment methods
  • Provide analytical support to PR and Comms teams during major events
  • Manage requests from the above stakeholders by evaluating the problems and questions shared by business users and translating them into actionable guidelines for the technical / analytics teams to execute upon

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Business/Administration
2+ years of market research experience, OR multi-channel marketing experience
Strong Data skills – must be comfortable analysing large quantities of data to create summaries, develop models, and extract insights
Experience with online advertising platforms such as Ad Words, Facebook, and Double Click a plus
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
