A Java Developer is in charge of designing, developing, and managing Java-based applications. Java is a widely-used programming language, especially by large organizations and enterprises. The daily tasks of Java Developers and Engineers vary depending on the organization, its needs, demands, structure, goals, mission, and particular projects.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the product’s lifecycle and contributing to each part of it: designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reliable, and reusable

Java code.

• Translating application storyboards into functional applications

• Achieving the best possible performance, responsiveness, and quality of the apps

• Maintaining and updating all existing Java applications.

• Identifying bugs and discovering and administering solutions to these issues

• Writing testable and efficient code; Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

• Ensuring that the design complies with specifications

• Preparing and producing releases of software components

• Supporting continuous improvement by examining alternatives and new technologies; presenting these insights for architectural review

• Developing and adhering to best-practices in app development

• Collaborating successfully with multiple teams – development team, design team, and product team.

• Enhancing the organization’s reputation by obtaining favorable results
