Overview

Java Developers are professionals who use Java’s programming language to create applications and software. These specialized programmers may collaborate with fellow engineers and web developers to create business applications and websites using said language. It’s essential to be meticulous in executing Java commands properly. Java Developers are responsible for implementing application phases and code in a Java program. They do this by conducting analysis and developing tests of their work. They may also improve established processes and other perfect existing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain java application phases.
  • To take part in software and architectural development activities.
  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging.
  • Identifying production and non-production application issues.
  • Transforming requirements into stipulations.
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software.
  • Recommend changes to improve established java application processes.
  • Develop technical designs for application development.
  • Develop application code for java programs.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Implementation of API.
  • Problem solving skills, analytical mind, and a positive attitude.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Experience in the Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
  • Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
  • Knowledge of developing REST API.
  • Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
  • Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving attitude.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related major is preferred.

Must have at least 2 year of work experience in the related field.
